TM Forum produces frameworks and business guidelines. This award will be given to a Supplier or System Integrator for recognition of leading application of these standard business practices.
Eligibility
This award is open to any Supplier or SI that has an existing application of TM Forum frameworks or business guidelines as part of a product, service or methodology. The application of these standard practices must be part of current operating procedure by 31 December 2007 and based on one of the following TM Forum models:
- eTOM
- Revenue Assurance guidebook
- SLA Management
- Business Benchmarking
- GBA Benchmarking
- SID
- Applications Framework (TAM)
- Business process framework (eTOM)
- Information Framework (SID)
Judging Criteria
Judges will be looking for verification of the following:
- Which TM Forum standard business practices or components were used
- How well and to what extent was this standard practice applied in comparison to its intended application
- How the product or solution/business practice methodology has delivered real business value through the use of TM Forum frameworks/guidelines
- How the customer has benefited from using TM Forum standard business practices in this manner
Submission Requirements
Entrants will be required to submit information on the following areas:
- TM Forum standard business practice adopted (i.e. eTOM, SLA, RA)
- Describe how this standard practice was applied and the extent to which it is used. Information such as for what applications or business processes this standard practice was applied to, how many customers adopted this practice, and for what length of time it has been commercially available. (1000 characters = 170 words)
- Evidence that the adopted practices are used as part of day to day business. Customer testimonials will be accepted as supplementary documentation. (1000 characters = 170 words)
- What real business value has been delivered as a result of utilizing this TM Forum framework or guideline in relation to the Supplier/System Integrator’s business? (1000 characters = 170 words)
- What real business value has been delivered as a result of utilizing this TM Forum framework or guideline in relation to the customer’s business? Testimonials are encouraged. Please provide the customer name and company name. (1000 characters = 170 words)
