Training & Education Sales Exec.

Summary
The TM Forum is engaged in Training and Education across the globe and trains thousands of people per year. An exciting opportunity to join the TM Forum's Training and Education sales team and contribute to the rapid growth of this function.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Take ownership for specific regional sales target for our Training and Education products, including
    1. Setting. Monitoring, Reporting and achieving sales targets
    2. Conducting the entire sales process with our clients in the selected regions
    3. Liaison with the T&E team in pre and post sales activities relating to training products including marketing, course scheduling, expectation setting etc.
  • Provide timely/weekly sales reports to VP training and Education and other staff as appropriate.
  • Work with internal IT team to ensure systems are created and/or updated to efficiently support and track the sales process.
  • Assist in determining pricing and value propositions for training products in specific regions.
  • Assist in analyzing and proposing new pricing mechanisms and value-adds for training products
  • Conduct collections in conjunction with Finance where appropriate
  • Work aggressively towards making sales projection numbers against plan.

Skill Requirements
  • At least 5 years experience in sales in a Telecoms or related industry such as software or hardware.
  • Strong negotiation skills and an ability to work under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Must be highly motivated, able to interact with senior executives over the phone and in person
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Skype.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use other in-house support and reporting tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • ability to work with colleagues across multiple time zones and cultures
