What is it?
TM Forum’s Compliance Certification
We are delighted that Tribold has been awarded TM Forum Information Framework (SID) compliance certification. We’re focused on delivering rapid returns and business benefit to our customers and adhering to the SID can only assist in this aim.

enables industry suppliers to test and certify their adherence to individual TM Forum frameworks and standards.

Through a combination of prescribed self-testing and external verification, compliance is assessed on a graduated scale to show the level of adoption of the elements of each framework.

Products which meet the rigorous standards set by the compliance tests are awarded the TM Forum Compliance Mark for each framework they successfully adopt.

TM Forum maintains an online publically available list of approved products which qualify for the Compliance Mark including test scores.
 
Upcoming Program Events
We are working on a number of  additions and improvements to the compliance Certification program - heres what to expect in early 2010:

February 11th 2010. We are pleased to have successfully completed the Business Process Framework (eTOM) Compliance trial with Huawei as our trial participant. We are reviewing the trial findings and we will announce details of the Business Process Frameworks (eTOM) Compliance Certification Program very soon.

We will announce details of point release upgrade support to help you maintain your certification status across release versions in mid-2010.

We have brought together a panel of assessors to support planned and in-progress assessments and we have already drawn from the panel to complete our most recent Information Framework (SID) assessment.

Who is it for?
TM Forum Compliance Certification and subsequent listing on the TM Forum Compliance website/portal is available to all interested companies with a significant price discount available to TM Forum Member companies.

The TM Forum Compliance mark is associated with a specific product, and may be used by TM Forum members who have successfully completed the Compliance Certification process for that product, for a period of 24 months after the successful compliance test.

Currently, Compliance Certification is available against the Information Framework (SID) only. Business Process Framework (eTOM) Compliance Certification is being evaluated and is currently completing trial..
