Neil E. Cox was named executive vice president of product and IT in August 2008 and is responsible for the product development and management of Qwest’s entire portfolio of voice, data and IP services. He also oversees the critical information technology infrastructure used to deliver services.
A seasoned executive with more than 35 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries, Mr. Cox joined Qwest in 2006 as the vice president of central region enterprise sales for Qwest’s Business Markets Group (BMG). Prior to joining Qwest, he was a venture partner at MK Capital, which invests in emerging technologies and applications software. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Cox served as executive vice president of the telecommunications sector at SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) – a Fortune 500 science, engineering and technology applications company.
Mr. Cox began his career at Indiana Bell in 1972 and later moved to Ameritech Corporation where he held a number of executive positions including president of both Ameritech Information Industry Services and SecurityLink from Ameritech. While at Ameritech, Mr. Cox was one of the inventors responsible for three patents that were designed around the notification of a data message on the Internet.

Rodrigo Modesto Duclos graduated in Electric Engineering at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. He holds an MBA from the same university where he developed a structural analysis of the Brazilian Cable industry back in 1999. Rodrigo began his career in NET Sul, a cable start-up back in 1994. He worked for different companies in the sector (Claro, Promon, LogicaCMG). Since the early days he has been involved with many innovative projects in telecommunications such as the introduction of broadband in Brazil (Cable Modems), Cellular pre-paid services, SMS, Ring-tones, MMS, GPRS/Edge, WAP, Digital TV (DVB), Cable Telephony, etc. Rodrigo is currently managing the PMO and the overall technology strategy in NET.

Mr. Ebrahimi is responsible for all systems and infrastructure for the newly created Verizon Services Operations (VSO) handling Supply Chain Services, Common Financial Services, and Corporate Real Estate, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Corporate Systems and intranet across Verizon, as well as Verizon Information Technologies, LLC. VSO delivered $562M savings (initial target $90M) in its full year of operation and it is well underway to deliver over $700M in savings (initial target $614M) in 2007.
Prior to his VSO appointment, Mr. Ebrahimi led the Information Technology for Retail Customer Management and Billing Systems organization. Before which, Mr. Ebrahimi served as SVP, responsible for Verizon Retail e-Business.
He deployed an innovative business transformation model based on integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles that creates a 360 view of all customer touches, transactions, and history. He led the strategy and development of innovative cross-Line-of-business structured messaging platform, an integrated Enterprise data warehouse, common customer contact engine, and common voice portal handling all Verizon Telecom and VSO customers.
He deployed the strategy that created a singular Verizon presence on the Web in 2001. The newly designed Verizon.com web site interfaces with all Verizon back office systems and allows customers to shop, order products and services, pay their bills and request repair online reducing cost and generating millions of dollars in revenue, through self-service. Since its launch, over 14M new customers have registered online expending self service rates from 0 to over 45%. Paul Feldman is a member of Fletcher, Heald & Hildreth PLC, a boutique Telecommunications Law firm located in Arlington, Virginia. His legal practice concentrates on the regulation of video services, including cable TV, IPTV and broadcast television; and telecommunications, including wireline and wireless voice, data and broadband Internet services. He advises clients on numerous issues, including Net Neutrality and broadband funding.
Mr. Feldman served as the co-chair of the Federal Communications Bar Association’s Wireline/Common Carrier Practice Committee from 1996-1998 and from 2004-2006. He has moderated FCBA continuing legal education seminars, and spoken at industry conventions.
Mr. Feldman received his B.A. in Philosophy from Columbia College in 1984, and his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1988. Albert was appointed into the role of Chief Information Officer in August 2007.
In this role Albert is responsible for the Vodafone Technology Information Services Organisation within Vodafone and its Operating Companies. Albert is accountable for the IS Strategy and the Operations of all IS functions across the group.
Prior to joining Vodafone, Albert was Global CIO with Nortel a Canadian multinational Telecommunications Solutions Provider and lived in the US and Canada. Albert was with Nortel for 14 years and worked in a variety of roles. He was Global CIO for 4 years.
Before joining Nortel, Albert was with Racal Radio Group LTD and British Aerospace Dynamics PLC.
He is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Incorporated Engineer and in September 2006 was named to the Information Week list of most innovative users of IT.
Albert holds electronic engineering and systems engineering degrees from South Devon College of Arts and Technology and a dipMBA from the Centre of Management Studies at Exeter University.
Albert is based in Newbury, Berkshire, UK at Vodafone’s World Headquarters.

Donio has been with NARM since 1988, when he joined the organization as Director of Creative Services, focusing primarily on editing a monthly newsletter, as well as creating a series of promotional and informational publications and materials. In 1991, Donio added PR and marketing functions to his NARM resume, and was promoted to the position of Communications Director. In 1995, he took on oversight of NARM's conventions and conferences as Vice President of Communications & Events.
In 2000, he was elevated to Executive Vice President, adding most of the organization's day-to-day administrative and operational responsibilities to his job description. Donio was named President in 2004. Prior to joining NARM, Donio held a variety of editorial, PR and event-related positions for the Association of Information Systems Professionals (AISP), an international individual membership organization focused on the needs of office systems professionals. Donio earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Temple University in Philadelphia. He has been active in Philadelphia-area TV and cultural events, winning a local Emmy Award in 1986 for “Outstanding Cultural Programming.”

He is responsible for running the day to day operations of the business, including sales & marketing, customer care, technology, operations, finance and human resources. CableVision is controlled by Grupo Clarin, the leading multimedia group of Argentina, owner of newspapers, tv broadcasting, radio and multimedia content production. Nobile began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1989 and later moved to Honeywell till he got into Grupo Clarin in 1997 as CFO of Clarin newspaper. Nobile is an accountant with specialization in Finance, and recently attended an executive program at the IAE.

Tom joined Rogers Cable as CIO in February 1998. Prior to that he was President of T.M. Vari & Associates Ltd., a consulting company, founded in 1974, serving a diverse set of clients, primarily in the communications and finance sectors in Canada, U.S. and the Bahamas. He was tenured faculty at York University, teaching computer science from 1972 to 1997.
In January, 2005, the IT groups of all the Rogers operating companies merged into a Rogers IT unit. Tom became responsible for the delivery of all applications for the Communications group including customer billing, care and service systems, logistics and distribution, provisioning and web presence.
Since late 2007, Tom has been assigned to the Rogers Enterprise Business Transformation project whose first release will be for Cable.
Tom received his undergraduate education at University of Toronto in Mathematics and Computer Science and completed graduate studies at Cornell University in Computer Science in 1972.

Tim Young, Editor in Chief, Pipeline
Tim Young is the Editor-in-Chief of Pipeline, a publication dedicated to the communications OSS/BSS industry. He has been covering OSS and telecommunications issues for over a half-decade, and enjoys the dynamic nature of the industry. Tim has been with Pipeline since the beginning of 2005, and has served as Editor-in-Chief since February of 2006. Prior to joining Pipeline's team, Tim worked as a freelance writer, and has written for numerous web and print publications throughout the Southeast and Midwest. A South Carolina native, Tim did his undergraduate work at Appalachian State University and his graduate work at the University of South Carolina. When not working with Pipeline, Tim is a part-time educator and performs improv and sketch comedy.
