Media Pass Credential Requirements
To receive a complimentary media pass for Management World Americas 2011, applicant must cover the industry on a regular basis through regular reports or publishing relevant industry articles that haven’t been solicited by an exhibiting company and are in the public domain. Private consultants who
are paid by an individual company are not eligible for a media pass, and should request a pass from the sponsoring company. The following information also applies to press pass requirements: As a member of the press or analyst community, you must present one of the following credentials in advance of Management World Americas 2011 before your registration will be approved:
- Trade/Business Publications; Online/News Services
- Industry Analysts
- Online News Outlets
- Association Publications/Newsletters
- Freelance Writers and Authors
- Bloggers
- Titles Accepted/Not Accepted
Trade/Business Publications; Online/News Services
Reporters from industry trade publications, newspapers and wire services will be required to provide an article published within the past six months that clearly displays authorship.
Industry Analysts
Writers from internationally recognized market research or financial institutions who consistently write for regularly published newsletters and/or reports must provide a sample of an industry-related report published within the past six months that clearly displays authorship.
Online News Outlets
An online news outlet must have a readership of over 1,000 per month and feature original news content above and beyond links, forums, troubleshooting tips and reader contributors. Each news outlet must have a paid reporting staff of two or more and must post original, dated, industry-related news at least once per week.
Association Publications/Newsletters
Reporters from internationally recognized magazines, newspapers or newsletters produced by industry associations must provide an article published within the past six months.
Freelance Writers and Authors
Persons requesting freelance credentials must provide an industry relevant article published within the past six months. Those who freelance occasionally and are employed by non-news organizations are not eligible for media credentials.
Bloggers
Bloggers must cover the industry on a regular basis and must have written on the business technology market within six months of requesting a media badge. For their badge request to be honored, blogs must contain original, dated, industry-related news content above and beyond links, forums, troubleshooting tips and reader contributions.
Acceptable Titles Note: Press credentials are reserved for editorial staff and analysts. Publication and research employees with the following types of titles will be considered for press credentials:

Media Center and Briefing Room Hours
Media Center and briefing room hours during the event will be the following:
Tuesday, Nov. 8, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 9, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 10, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Meeting Space for Media Briefings Beginning September 26th, meeting rooms located inside the Media Center can be reserved in 30 minute or 60 minute increments on the hour and half-hour for registered attendees who have secured meetings with registered press/analysts during the event.
Meeting Rooms can only be reserved for meetings between registered press/analysts and registered attendees for the purpose of briefings to support industry research, publication stories, newsletters, or reports. They are not intended or available for business-development meetings.
Meeting rooms are available during press room hours only. The last day to pre-reserve a room is November 3rd. After this date reservations can be made on a first-come-first-serve basis at the event.
