Alfred started his professional career in the mid 80s as he worked for four years as Junior IT manager in the Coca-Cola group, then he moved into the telecom industry in the late 80s as he joined the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) in the south of France as support engineer.
In 1995 he worked for 2 years as Consultant for Detecon in Bonn Germany, specializing in the integration of OSS systems, then in 1998 as Manager and Senior Manager at Andersen Consulting in France (now Accenture); he took part in many OSS/BSS integration and business process reengineering projects across four continents.
In 2001 Alfred started to collaborate (on behalf of Accenture) with the TeleManagement Forum in the development of the new NGOSS framework, particularly focusing on the eTOM and became involved in various catalyst projects, as well as providing training in NGOSS and enterprise architecture.
In early 2003 he created ArchiTelco as an open association of experienced consultants and subject matter experts dedicated to working on different aspects related to the strategy, management and optimization of an enterprise architecture, but with particular focus on the telecommunications sector.
In 2004 Alfred joined ETSI (for ArchiTelco) as Project Manager for the @LIS Dialogue on Standards initiative, a cooperation programme for the promotion & development of the Information Society between Europe and Latin-America.
Alfred holds a Master’s degree from the University of Lille I (France) in IT and Communications Technology, as well as a Bachelors degree (DUT) in Electronics & Computer Science from the University of Grenoble.

Jose Ricardo Bueno is a Telecommunications Advisors with over 24 years of experience in several telecom business areas and is a consultant leader to many service providers in Brazil as well as a foreign and manager for a key Telecom SP in Brasil. He has been a Latin America Advisory Board Chairman for TM Forum, instructor of Business Process Framework courses for several companies in Brazil and is a recognized expert on global telecommunications management.
Jose Ricardo holds an Electric Engineering degree from the University of Campinas and an MBA in IT from the Getulio Vargas Foundation and Ohio University.

Andy Chalmers

Andy Chalmers has over 35 years experience in the Telecommunications Industry.
In the past 8 years Andy has specialized in OSS and in particular Service Management where he has worked for Service Providers, Software Vendors and as a Consultant on business transformation projects.
For the TM Forum, he was editor of the Wireless service-based Measurements Handbook, a Contributor to the SLA handbook and presented the successful webinar on SLAs in November 2006.
Andy is Director of the TM Forum’s Catalyst Program and is a program manager for the Applications Framework (TAM) team.
He brings a range of perspectives to the subject, business, technical and operational.

Roger Cutts

Roger Cutts has been actively involved with the TM Forum for over 4 years – first as Principal Contact representing one of the world’s leading Mobile Service Providers, and more recently as a consultant and trainer on the TM Forum’s technical work programme.
Roger has over 30 years experience in IT and Telecoms industries covering all aspects of the project lifecycle from Requirements through to Deployment. For several years he worked in the capacity of Global IT Architect, using methods in the workplace which were developed in parallel with his work in the TM Forum contributing to the TM Forum Business Process Framework (eTOM), TM Forum Information Framework (SID) and TM Forum Applications Framework (TAM) teams. These methods included developing a high level functional architecture, creating an application map and using those deliverables to develop a long term strategy and architecture for the organisation. Roger has worked with all the products which make up the NGOSS Methodology.
Roger is a leading proponent of the ideas of Enterprise Architecture, initially described by John Zachman in the 1980s, and a supporter of methodologies such as TOGAF, and sees the NGOSS Methodology as another important tool in this field.

Cliff Faurer

Cliff Faurer has spent 20 years in the Software and Telecommunications industries in various positions of influence and leadership. Most recently his role has been to assist the telecommunications industry in developing and implementing the technical strategies needed to enhance our way of doing business.
As the TM Forum NGOSS Technical Director he was responsible for the technical teams that produced the Next Generation Operations Systems and Software guidebooks, technical reports and specifications.
He now jointly manages AutoMagicKB LLC which licences UML-based industry models, and provides consultancy and training on use of UML-based models for advanced problem solving and solution development.
Cliff has had technical management responsibility for software system specification for Electronic Communications systems at Qwest, US WEST and most recently the TM Forum. His efforts continue to lead to the enhancement of existing standardization processes, tools and techniques with the goal of increasing project quality, delivered capabilities and budget efficiencies.
Cliff continues to play a key leadership role in defining, maintaining and enhancing existing EC systems guidelines and standards for the Information Communications and Technology (ICT) Industry. He is a frequent presenter and speaker at industry events.

Idir Fodil

Idir is responsible for Network Management Standards Activities within France Telecom, he
received the B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, from the national institute national d'informatique, Algiers (Algeria), in 1998. He received the M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines (France) in 2000. He also received a PhD Degree in Computer Science from the University of Paris VI in 2004. In 2000 and Until 2001 Idir FODIL worked as consultant for Alcatel on the 3GPP UMTS Core Network. From 2001 to 2004, Idir FODIL works as Scientist Researcher in 6WIND Company, where he was involved in the design and development of policy based management architectures for heterogeneous networks. In 2005, Idir FODIL joins France Telecom R&D, where he work on new generation networks (NGN) for the deployment of voice and video services. His areas of interests, are the session control multiple access network, mobility, and network and service management. He is active member in the standardization bodies, ETSI TISPAN, 3GPP, TMF and ITU-T. Idir FODIL participates in the edition of NGN Management standards, especially in ETSI TISPAN.

Jonathan Hart

Jonathan has been an independent consultant since 1979, most recently specialising in telecoms billing, CRM and operational matters. He undertakes practical and productive assignments for clients such as Revenue Assurance studies, end-to-end process improvement design and investigation for Due Diligence in acquisitions, and has delivered significant performance improvements in a wide range of business sectors. He has developed and presented courses on process design and management development as well as telecoms billing.
He has advised companies in the Middle East, Europe and Australasia on strategy, process design and the selection and implementation of key business systems (BSS/OSS). Jonathan is the author of “The Book of Billing for Telecommunications”, first published in 2002, and co-author of “The Billing Guide” (1997). His latest book “Strategic Business Realignment – How To Manifest Abundance In Your Business (or, How To Get Your Ducks In A Row)”, was published in 2006.

Mike Kelly

Mike Kelly has worked with the TM Forum since its earliest days, and joined its staff over six years ago. He is concerned with the technical work program, particularly TM Forum's New Generation Operations Systems and Software (NGOSS) initiative. His particular focus is with the work on the TM Forum Business Process Framework (eTOM) as a business process framework for the industry, and with integrating the business processes from this area with systems developed using the methodology and architecture of TM Forum's
NGOSS program. He is also concerned with work on testing compliance and conformance to NGOSS in OSS/BSS solutions.
Mike has worked in the telecommunications industry for thirty years, in software and systems design, marketing and product management. He also spent two years as an adviser to the Chief Scientist in the UK Government Cabinet Office on telecommunications and IT policy.
Mike is a frequent conference speaker, and also provides training and consultancy to organisations in applying the work of TM Forum and related bodies.

Dave Milham

Dave is an active contributor to the TM Forum since 1988 and has performed a number of leadership roles in the TM Forum, most recently the co-chair of the Service Delivery Framework team and the NGOSS Contracts Management Program. He is currently active in the Service Delivery Framework, Architecture Harmonization and SLA Management teams.
He recently retired from BT where he worked in the Office of the CTO on driving OSS Architecture and Innovation within the BT Group. Working with the BT Design system teams he was responsible for development BT’s internal OSS architecture and was one of the contributors to BT 21C OSS Architecture and the adoption of the T | |
