Enhancements to the SID can be made in a number of ways.

For large enhancements send a Change Request to the Change Control Board (CCB). There is no need to completely develop the enhancement, but enough detail should be included to describe the reason for and a detailed summary of the enhancement. The CR will most likely be sent to the SID team for review. A link to the CCB web page follows

Another way to recommend larger enhancements, such as developing an ABE or recommending major enhancements to an existing ABE, is to direct the desired enhancement to a SID team member or the SID program manager. Your contact will help you work through the enhancement process which most likely will involve the formation of a SID sub-team to development the enhancement. Once the development has progressed to a draft stage the entire SID should review the enhancement. Once final review is complete a CR is prepared and sent to the CCB.

For smaller enhancements, email a summary of the desired enhancement to a SID team member or the SID program manager. You may be directed to the CCB for small enhancements, such as minor edits or error corrections. Follow the link below to reach the CCB home page.
