Similarly, alterations made to other ProductOfferingPrice(s) incurred for a ProductOffering can take many different forms, such as<br/> • Discount – A discount is a reduction in price. It could be a flat fee such as 10 dollars or a percentage, such as 50% off. A discount always applies to, and thus is associated with, one or more other ProdOfferPrices. So, a discount would be 10 dollars off the installation fee or 50% off the per-minute rate.<br/> • Replacement – A price that replaces another ProductOfferingPrice (charged in lieu of another price). For example, purchasing two of a single product offering may result in a discounted price for both.<br/> • Taxation – A tax amount is an increase in price due to a compulsory levy by an authorized jurisdiction. For ProductOfferingPrice this is a projected amount. The actual tax amount will be applied in the ProductPrice. See the dedicated section below on tax for fuller details.<br/>
