As with other business entities contained within the Market/Sales domain there may be a number of other attributes that are important in characterizing a MarketingCampaign. For example, the brokerage houses that have picked up a campaign, the number of press releases associated with a campaign, or the number of prospects intended to be reached by a campaign may be of interest. The CharacteristicSpec/Characteristic and Composite/Atomic patterns used through the Market/Sales domain are also applied here to accommodate this need. These entities as they relate to a MarketingCampaign are shown in the figure below.<br/>An example of the use of the composite characteristic is the definition of a characteristic that consolidates all brokerage house attributes. This composite would be comprised of atomic characteristic instances representing brokerage house names associated with a MarketingCampaign, as well as an instance representing the total number of brokerage houses that took up the MarketingCampaign.<br/><ul>
