The Business Interaction ABE model employs the commonly used SID EntitySpecification/Entity pattern. Conceptually, a BusinessInteractionSpec defines the invariant attributes and relationships (and in the system view, methods and constraints as well) for defining a set of BusinessInteractions. A BusinessInteraction uses these invariant characteristics and behavior and adds instance-specific characteristics and behavior to them such that, by building from a base of standard capabilities, it becomes possible to create unique BusinessInteractions that are specifically targeted at different users, market segments, and so forth. The figure below shows the relationship between a BusinessInteractionSpec and a BusinessInteraction.<br/>
