The Outstanding Contributor Award is given to individuals who have contributed significantly to TM Forum Collaboration work and to driving the industry forward. The Award is presented at Accelerate events (formerly Action Week).

February 2024 – Outstanding Contributors
Derek has been instrumental in several projects within AI and Automation, including AI Operations, Digital Twin for Decision Intelligence, Measuring and Managing Autonomy and TechCo Organizational Design. He was responsible for the definition of 2 dimensions within the Autonomous Operations Maturity Model, a dimension within the Digital Talent Maturity Model, and consistently champions his organization through use cases to support other members in the adoption of TM Forum assets. He was also a part of 2 winning Catalyst teams at DTW’23 Ignite.
Brian has been an invaluable member of the ODA Components and Canvas project, due to his vision for ensuring we drive forward with component specifications that are machine readable, implementable code. Due to this model change, we now have a clear, defined process that allows our members to be able to build specifications supported by a clear testing strategy, to achieve industry recognized certification. Brian has also had a great influence on setting the direction for the ODA-CA project, which is now in a strong position leveraging the capabilities of the TM Forum Innovation Hub based in Mumbai with a Member-appointed, dedicated team.
Ayedime has played a crucial role in the TechCo Organizational Design (TCOD) project at TM Forum. With over 20 years of experience in technology strategy and transformation, she brings extensive knowledge and insight to discussions on organizational design, culture, and the impact of people on transitioning from a telco to a techco. She has been instrumental in showcasing the Digital Talent Maturity Model and was part of the winning Catalyst team, Rise of the Bots, at DTW’23 – Ignite. Ayedime’s expertise in business models, big data, AI, blockchain, and APIs drives her passion for helping telcos embrace organizational design, culture, and people on the convergence paradigm shift from network to software-driven environments. Her dedication to the project has made her the new Chair for the TCOD project.
Olivier has been instrumental in and one of the key drivers behind the design and production of the CAMARA/GSMA Operate API. This project has been one of the trailblazers for our endeavors into the creation of context specialization of our Open APIs, which he has supported through his work within the specialization process, creation of context specific tooling and the production of key API assets. Olivier has championed the adoption of TM Forum Gen5 Open APIs, supporting our developments as well as contributing back into our API architecture.
Steve has been pivotal in the early success of the new Wholesale Broadband project launched in TM Forum last year, which holds early ambitions to create a global, standardized solution for the telecommunications industry for the provisioning and fulfilment of wholesale broadband access. He has played a lead role, leading the project virtually and physically via hosting our first face to face workshop. Within the project, he has supported the creation of the first standardized product model, which seeks to utilize context specific Open APIs to remove the complexities faced by the industry today when ordering wholesale services. We look forward to this project expanding its efforts through the Catalyst program in 2024.
Yun has been outstanding in her comprehensive contributions and leadership in the Zero Touch Partnering collaboration program activities. She has captured detailed use cases, flows for APIs and processes, showing practically how to realize scalable partnering. She has also created the essential APIs to realize onboarding, as well as 4 Open APIs required to manage revenue sharing. She has now also created a set of materials to demonstrate how to realize data collaboration in an ecosystem.

February 2023 – Outstanding Contributors
Elisabeth is self-motivated, engages effectively with other team members, and drives input. Her efforts in the Components and Canvas project and the API team have led to valuable results in charging and billing activities. In addition, her action on How to use ODA – Using Open APIs to Realize Use Cases illustrates two possible ways of distributing processes and components and TMF API orchestration through use cases.
Maria has been a regular participant in several projects and a significant contributor to discussions on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and Sustainability within the AI Governance and MAMA projects. She has been the co-chair for IG1298 ESG Impact on AO and Vice Versa v1.0.0, published in Sprint 6. Her contributions to TM Forum member projects have been invaluable.
Sylvie has been an exceptional contributor throughout the years. She recently became the co-chair for specifying core commence-related ODA Components and ODA E2E work on – How to use ODA comprising use cases, sequence charts, and supporting interaction diagrams. Her support has driven up specification quality for ODA Components, leading to improved understanding and quality of specifications for TMFC024 Billing Account Management, TMFC029 Payment Management and TMFC023 Party Interaction management, and other ODA Components. In addition, the assets she has helped to create have been used on the 5G Flyers – Phase II Catalyst project covering network slicing.
Koen has led the development of architecture and specifications for the ODA Supporting functions and supply chain components. Both areas of contributions have been substantial, of high quality, and responsive to other member inputs and comments. In addition, he has input into the work on using ODA, use cases and sequence charts, the IGI236 Best Practice CPE Modelling, and Open API discussions. He is an excellent contributor and very effective at handling comments and achieving a consensus position while remaining neutral and never compromising on quality.
This is the second time we have ever awarded a company contributor award, which acknowledges an organization’s effort in encouraging its members to contribute to TM Forum’s member projects.

SriJagadish has demonstrated an exceptional breadth of knowledge in Zero-Touch Partnering. His leadership and expertise have led to the development and driving force behind several assets, such as the ZTP Vision and Strategy document and the Ecosystem Assurance information guide. In addition, SriJagadish’s collaborative style and commitment have been instrumental in bringing out the best in all team members by providing support and guidance.
Joel has been a pivotal contributor to TM Forum’s Open Application Programming Interface (API) team. He has provided hundreds of hours of software development for the new V5 Tooling for the API program. His drive to contribute to TM Forum Open APIs has elevated TM Forum’s source control strategy. It is now on par with any large software company globally. In addition, Joel has demonstrated tremendous leadership skills by collaborating and engaging with others.
Cliff Faurer

Cliff co-leads the Business Architecture work at TM Forum. His contributions and leadership have been exceptional in building out the first industry capability map and ensuring its relevance and alignment to TM Forum assets. In doing so, he has saved years of later work to create this alignment manually. Cliff is also a long-standing frequent contributor to many aspects of TM Forum, including the mapping guild. In addition, he is an industry advocate and technical leader of TM Forum’s work.
Ryan’s exemplary contribution to the End-to-end Open Digital Architecture program has led to the creation of TM Forum’s guidebook “Transformation Project Framework,” which provides TM Forum members with a revolutionary framework for transformation projects. Ryan demonstrates tremendous leadership skills, and his ability to listen, collaborate, and engage with others has led the way for others to face industry challenges, organize those challenges, and document them to allow for reusable transformational assets. He is a listener, innovator, and excellent leader.
Cece Li

Cece has been a diligent contributor to the Open Digital Architecture -Component Accelerator project at TM Forum. Her vast knowledge of the industry has led her to drive the internal activities at Whale Cloud, which has helped build TM Forum’s Open Digital Architecture components in compliance with the specifications of the ODA Reference Implementation. In addition, Cece continually enhances the field by volunteering to participate in TM Forum Show & Tell sessions and has led Masterclasses at TM Forum’s Digital Transformation World Series. Her support, guidance, and leadership have been exemplary and critical to the project.

Dave has been a diligent contributor at TM Forum and led the development of the Ecosystem Modeling Framework, a strategic planning tool to help the industry de-risk strategic decision-making about making investments to go beyond connectivity. His vast industry knowledge has also led him to support the GIO digital health webinar introducing the model to smart inhalers and demonstrating the role of telecommunication service providers in the industry. Dave has been an influencer at TM Forum and is taking the Ecosystem Modeling Framework to the next level by seeking collaboration through the Catalyst program.

Sarah is a regular and valued attendee and contributor to all Data Governance meetings and team leader for the Data Governance Guidebook workstream. Sarah is an experienced project manager and an effective team leader. She encourages participation and contributions from all team members and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that deliverables are reviewed and completed in time for the publication deadlines.
Jörg Niemöller

Jörg has been the driving force behind developing Intent-based operations within the TM Forum Autonomous Networks project. For the past two years, Jörg has contributed to the development of TM Forum’s informational guide “Intent in Autonomous Networks,” a comprehensive suite consisting of five critical assets for the Autonomous Networks project. In addition, he is an inspirational leader, eloquent speaker, and prolific contributor to written material.
Emmanuel A. Otchere

Emmanuel demonstrates consistent leadership of the Closed Loop Anomaly Detection and Resolution Automation (CLADRA) project. As a pioneer and leader in the CLADRA work, he has helped the team consistently generate assets every eight weeks, allowing the program to grow and help other members at TM Forum. In addition, Emmanuel’s vast depth of knowledge in the industry has shown him to be an influencer across TM Forum in other areas such as Open Digital Architecture, Digital Ecosystem Management, and Digital Maturity Model.

Thierry led the development of the Connectivity-as-a-Service strategy document, leading to the capture and articulation of the high-level architecture and strategy for delivering Connectivity-as-a-Service. Thierry also led the reference architecture work for Zero Touch Partnering. He continues to be committed to both areas, which are critical to the success of our industry beyond connectivity.
Satish Sadagopan

Since its inception, Satish has been the co-leader of the Closed Loop Anomaly Detection and Resolution Automation (CLADRA) workgroup. Satish works hard in driving the team, helps set the delivery goals, and ensures they are achieved. Satish is a natural leader who is very collaborative, listens, and urges others to collaborate, leading to the delivery of the use cases, reference architecture and other key publications.

His leadership, perseverance, rigor, and countless hours of individual and collaborative work have led to the coordination of the Digital Platform Reference Architecture to align with Open Digital Architecture.

Jacob has demonstrated an exceptional breadth of knowledge in the Open API project. He helped lead the development of crucial TM Forum’s assets around privacy and an API user guide capturing past interactions among many APIs. His understanding of API functionality and TM Forum’s mission to deliver the operational agility, cost savings and customer experience required to thrive in the future has made him an ideal spokesperson for the API team.
His leadership and knowledge have also led to the completion of APIs for other collaboration projects. His collaborative style is instrumental in bringing out all team members’ best by providing support and guidance while valuing all input and viewpoints.
Gaetano has been a pivotal champion and contributor to the Open Digital Architecture (ODA) program at TM Forum. He has led the ODA Reference Implementation project in scoping, forecasting and prioritizing a list of crucial ODA component candidates. His drive to contribute to TM Forum’s ODA program has also led him to support and innovate with the Frameworx and Open API teams.
Gaetano’s dedication has made him a pioneer in shaping the ODA Component Accelerator project (ODA-CA), which seeks to develop a suitable test platform for ODA Components and to deploy ODA reference implementations in CSP environments and the Open Digital Lab. Gaetano has demonstrated tremendous leadership skills, and his ability to listen, collaborate and engage with others has led to countless solutions for the ODA program.
Cedric Crettaz

Cedric’s exemplary contributions have led to vital deployments of the IoT API Component Suites and Device Management & Services Management APIs, to name a few. His knowledge in IoT and his skills as a developer were significant in completing the work and, more importantly, the leadership and dedication needed in the project. The discipline he has shown to the Beyond Connectivity program has led to successful deliverables while at the same time benefiting the API program, ensuring alignment with the governance of the API program.
Cedric’s dedication does not stop at TM Forum’s Collaboration space, as he also dedicates his time to the Catalyst program. His efforts were most recently committed to the ‘Digital Business Marketplace III’ Catalyst. He is an innovator, listener and excellent leader.
Andrew has been a diligent contributor for many years in Frameworx and has been a thought leader aiming to finalize a common metamodel at TM Forum. His vast knowledge of the industry has promoted a view of unifying frameworks and reference architectures by looking at standard taxonomy and mapping to other mainstream industry standards such as Archimate and TOGAF, BizBok, and ITIL.
Andrew is respected within TM Forum for his efforts and in other organizations and is a true innovator. His collaborative style effectively brings out all team members’ best by providing support and guidance while valuing all inputs and viewpoints.
Paul Morrissey

Throughout the years, Paul has made a measurable impact through his leadership and dedication to TM Forum. Most recently, his insight has motivated projects such as Data Governance, AIOps and AI Governance. His communication style lends itself to informative discussions leading innovative projects like AI Canvas. Paul is a university professor and has proven to be an excellent leader, bringing a wealth of experience to TM Forum’s collaboration and catalyst projects.

Dr. Gadi Solotorevsky

Gadi’s dedication to TM Forum’s Collaboration and Catalyst programs is evident in his ability to lead, assist in creating the scope of work, motivate, and promote overall roadmaps for projects such as Business Assurance and Business Process Framework (eTOM) models. The assets he has helped roll out have built bridges for the Collaboration and Catalyst programs leading to vast innovation opportunities. He has earned his peers’ respect and become a role model in the field by showing superb leadership skills in conducting masterclasses at TM Forum events.
Gadi is an excellent team player who focuses on the issues, listens carefully to alternative views and responds professionally to all points of view.

Gina is a TM Forum pioneer. As one of the founders and leaders of the Business Assurance Project, her exemplary leadership and knowledge have helped create the Business Assurance Framework which is critical to telco operations. Gina leads the work on “how” to integrate business assurance into telco operations. Her efforts have helped with representing business assurance in the Business Process Framework, through creation of new domains and restructuring of past revenue assurance elements.
As a long-standing contributor to this program, Gina has created a large part of the material in the GB941A Revenue Assurance Balanced Scorecard. She has exhibited strong leadership, with consistent and sustained contributions and active participation over many years.
Luca’s exemplary contribution has covered many key projects in the AI & Data Analytics Project, including leading the AI Management, AIOps and AI Maturity workstreams. Not only has he made individual contributions to the work, he has also used TM Forum Catalysts to facilitate the work and take it from “theory to practice”. One example is the AI Maturity Model. Luca led seven communications service providers (CSPs) through the maturity model and fed back comments to improve the model.
His most recent role has been to lead the AIOps workstream, which is exploring the challenges of redesigning and re-engineering operational processes to support and govern deployment of AI. Luca’s collaborative style is extremely effective in bringing out the best of all team members by providing support and guidance while valuing all inputs and viewpoints.
Vance Shipley

Vance has been a prolific contributor to the Open Digital Architecture (ODA) Project, ensuring alignment across Open APIs, the Information Framework (SID) and ODA with the objective of creating substantial technical assets to underpin ODA production. Vance’s breadth of knowledge, specifically about resource function activation, alarm management JSON/swagger, 5G models and resource topology discovery models has enriched the program.
In addition, his contribution has been instrumental in supporting the Resource Management APIs. Vance has shown strong leadership abilities and is an excellent team player who always focuses on the issues, listens carefully to alternative views and responds professionally to all points of view.
The first-ever company contributor award acknowledges an organization’s effort in encouraging its members to contribute to TM Forum’s Collaboration Program. In the past six months, Deutsche Telekom has had three outstanding contributors in the Open API Program and Digital Ecosystem Program.
Alexis De-Peufeilhoux and Thomas Braun have been exemplary contributors in the development of TM Forum assets such as the Geographic Address API, Design Guidelines, Resource Inventory API, Resource Activation and Configuration API and Event API. Thomas Brunk has shown leadership skills in the Business Assurance Project by leading sessions at Action Week and has been instrumental in developing the Business Architecture Practice Guidebook. His strong background has laid the foundation to align the business capabilities with TM Forum’s Open Digital Architecture. All three have shown great leadership and have been extremely effective in bringing the best out of all team members by providing support and guidance needed.

Abinash has contributed across many programs at TM Forum, demonstrating strong leadership and consistent and active participation on every program. He recently led the assessment of 5G impacts to the business and is now leading the 5G and IoT interaction assessment to define new business models to operationalize the business. Abinash’s breadth of knowledge of the industry and 5G technology and monetization, as well as his passion, has enabled him to contribute across many projects. His collaborative style is extremely effective in bringing out the best from all team members by providing support and guidance while valuing all inputs and viewpoints.
Kevin’s exemplary contribution has covered a number of key projects in the Open Digital Architecture (ODA) program, including leading the coordination of standards with other industry bodies GSMA and ONAP, and participating in the Catalyst project: 5G Riders on the Storm that explores how 5G can help communications service providers support critical services in extreme weather events. Kevin’s contribution to the Catalyst project displayed his extraordinary technical writing skills and the ability to distill complex concepts into lay person’s language. Kevin continually demonstrates great teamwork and always interacts professionally with great respect for other’s opinions.
Knut Johannessen

Knut has been a formidable contributor to the Open API Program through his proactive engagement in API schemification, and has been instrumental in the creation of the API pipeline. Over the last year, Knut’s sustained contribution on the Open API program spec jam weekly calls has also earned the respect of his project colleagues who consider him to be an excellent team player. He always displays a professional and respectful attitude and takes time to explain the basis of his view with objectivity and transparency.

Rob has co-led the AI Management Standards workstream and has been the thought leader of this project, having first proposed it with his colleagues from BT. He has not only pushed the work forward but also developed many of the ideas. Rob has worked tirelessly on creating the Service Management Standards for AI information guide and was responsible for putting together the final version. He also created the high-level operational model as well as the use cases with Janki Vora, and together they developed the interface definitions.
Jonathan has made a massive contribution to the Open API Program as a diligent reviewer of the API Design Guidelines 3 work in Release 18.0, one of the most prolific members of the API/Frameworx Information Framework mapping task force and, in Release 18.5, as a key member of the Tiger Team re-casting the Open APIs to use shared schema files and common definitions, initially for the Service orientated APIs. In addition to his great work on the API project, Jonathan is a key contributor to the Information Framework workstream and is a vibrant participant and responder to questions in the API and Frameworx on-line community groups.
Kaj has been an active contributor to many TM Forum projects since 2015. Most recently he has been leading the Frameworx team working on enhancing and rationalizing the Functional Framework which has become a key building block of the Open Digital Architecture (ODA). Kaj has also co-led the team working on the ODA Component Definition and the creation of usable examples in Releases 18 and 18.5. His work is fundamental to moving ODA from a concept to a usable framework.
Yuval has been a consistent and diligent contributor to the Zero-touch Orchestration, Operations and Management (ZOOM) and Open Digital Architecture (ODA) programs. He has led a number of Catalyst projects that have validated concepts and principles from various workstreams and has provided valuable feedback to the TM Forum Open API Program and TM Forum Data Model. During Release 18.5, Yuval led the ODA Resource and Service workstream and provided valuable input to its work on 5G network slicing.
Janki has led the TM Forum Open Digital Lab work which is a IBM cloud hosted cross industry collaboration environment. Her dedication and leadership ensured that this initiative could be available to TM Forum members for their proof of concept development projects. Janki has co-led the AI Management Standards workstream and has been instrumental in its rapid success. She has contributed heavily to the Service Management Standards for AI information guide, offering use cases as well as contributing significantly to the content. Janki has encouraged discussion outside the team’s calls and has worked to ensure that all deliverables have been met. She played a vital role at Action Week in Dallas by designing and leading a double session, including bringing in IBM’s design-thinking expert. Janki is also pushing Catalyst projects as proofs of concept for the workstream.

Mariano Belaunde

Mariano has consistently helped the teams in the Open API Program capture their designs in what is universally referred to as “Mariano’s tooling”. He has been instrumental in delivering an effective and consistent set of Swagger files to the developer community, especially recent clarifications of the Design Guidelines. Mariano has helped the teams generate consistent and validated Swagger file specifications – more than 80% of the Forum’s APIs are based on his tooling, and the enhanced consistency and improved alignment to the Design Guidelines achieved in TM Forum Release 18 would not have been possible without his tireless support.
Sylvie Demarest

Sylvie’s exemplary participation in the OSS/BSS of the Future workshops to develop the requirements helped lay out the initial white paper presented at Action Week in Vancouver. This, in turn, lead to the formation of the new work program. Sylvie has been a co-leader of the Open Digital Architecture since its initial charter. She has been a major contributor to the development of the functional architecture and helped the detailed and diligent mapping of ODA to the Business Process and Information Frameworks.
Daniela Galigniana

Daniela was a key participant in the OSS/BSS of the Future workshops held in May, July and November 2017 and kindly hosted the Madrid Open Digital Architecture workshop in April 2018. The London workshops developed the requirements that lead to the whitepaper presented at Action Week in Vancouver. She has been an active contributor to the ODA functional architecture providing Business Process and Information Framework mappings and doing valuable detailed reviews of the contributions from other collaborators.
Sousuke Izumida

Sousuke has been a continuous developer of new APIs and more recently of the API Reference Implementations. NTT has been a strong proponent of the APIs for over three years, and Sousuke has been developing new APIs since the beginning of the company’s involvement. He attends all the spec jams and face-to-face meetings and is now helping by taking a leadership role in developing the Reference Implementations.
Emmanuel A. Otchere

Emmanuel is committed to leading the Open Digital Architecture and the Ecosystem Business Architecture to drive innovation and breakthrough capabilities for TM Forum members. He understands and communicates the value the Forum brings and he can lead the discussion at both a strategic and tactical level. Emmanuel developed the EBA/ODA value cycle that depicts how business architecture supports both ODA and EBA. He also developed the drivers for EBA and is relentless in establishing a business common language that business and technical users can agree to over time.
Dimitris Symeonidis

As Team Leader for ODA Concepts and Principles, Dimitris has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He has provided a template for insightful and efficient collaboration, delivering the first Open Digital Architecture asset for TM Forum Release 18. His excellent meeting management and interpersonal skills have made this a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Dimitris was also a first-time leader for the Blade Runner Catalyst project, which resulted in the team winning an award for Outstanding Catalyst – Innovation.

Gnanapriya Chidambaranathan

Priya has been a great advocate of the Open API and Catalyst programs for several years. She has ensured support for the Open API Manifesto and continues to ensure alignment of Infosys’s strategy with the manifesto. She has also taken leadership roles in several Catalyst projects, also supporting her team to take leadership roles. Under her guidance, Infosys has consistently showcased projects at multiple events including the award winning Logical Factory project at TM Forum Live! in Nice 2017. Priya ensures strong representation of Infosys across a number of collaborative areas, such as the work mapping Open APIs to the Information Framework (SID).
Stephen Harrop

Steve has been instrumental in the development and leadership of the API governance system. He has helped to define a mechanism that allows TM Forum to industrialize the API development work and use a proven system for managing complex deliverables. His work in organizing and categorizing the API development requests, assigning owners and creating visualizations has helped the team to clearly understand and prioritize the work needed to progress the objectives of the Open API project.

This linked Frameworx based RFP requirements to ‘real-world’ detailed Certification results as awarded by TM Forum for Frameworx Certified Products & Solutions from a broad range of suppliers. Geoff has been a main force behind the new Revenue Assurance Maturity Model, which was developed over the prior 18 months and delivered as part of Frameworx 14. The new model was created through compilation of over 700 questions and is a significant evolution and contribution to TM Forum’s Revenue Assurance Best Practices. In addition, Geoff was an active contributor to the Catalyst project last fall at TM Forum’s Digital Disruption 2013 where the maturity model was tested. Cécile has been a significant contributor to TM Forum’s metric model iteration. She took the initiative of taking on the task of comparing the Information Framework model to other industry models, worked with another member on aligning the model with scenarios developed by that member and simplified the presentation of key concepts in the model. In addition, she was the primary contributor to the Loyalty Program work added in Frameworx 14 and volunteered to participate in the development of the test model. Her leadership was evident as she took on the role of primary metric guidebook editor and support role for model development.

The Integration Program work covers TM Forum interfaces for business and operational support system (BSS/OSS) integration and is based on the Information Framework.Steve has made many contributions to MTOSI and almost every Integration Framework team. He is co-editor of the Service Problem Management Business Agreement, contributor to the initial Resource Alarm Management and Performance Management Business Agreements, the main author of the Resource Provisioning Business Agreement, contributor to the Ordering Business Agreement, and contributor to the Inventory Technical Reports.

Since its inception in 2008 Gary has served in various capacities over the years such as the lead for Business Process Framework for Cable developing the Quick Start Packs for new services, and as a contributor to working groups focused on Business Intelligence/KPI’s and IPDR. In addition, he has provided vision for the Cable Program and guidance for emerging requirements in Big Data, Analytics, Commercial Services, and other key areas. He has championed Cable Catalysts, and has pioneered the development and value of the Quick Start Pack approach.

Alex has been active in the TM Forum’s Collaboration Program for many years. He has taken a leadership role in relation to the tooling requirements needed to support the continuous development and adoption of Frameworx, and was the primary contributor in TR144 and TR144v2 which was released in Frameworx 11.5. Along with this Alex has been an active contributor in the Cloud program, representing DMTF, he was instrumental in establishing a partnership with DMTF in the Cloud space and was a significant contributor to the TM Forum DMTF Cloud White Paper.
