Meeting Types and Participation

Monday morning 11:00 am – 12:30 pm – Projects will be working through their strategic alignment and exploratory sessions. These are open sessions. You do not need to have joined the project to attend.

Monday at 1:30 pm – All projects will move into their collaborative development work. At this point, projects will be operating under their IPR mode and will need to ensure that their charter has been updated to include the details of the deliverables that their teams plan to create, and all participants need to have joined the project.

You should select the project you wish to work with for the week as early as possible. If you find on Monday that the team you are working with is not the best fit for your skills, you can move. Staff members are here to help, just ask if you need support finding the right project and ensuring you have the right IPR privileges. An IPR desk is setup at registration.

Please note: While the event is organized by projects, there are many intersecting points of common interest across project teams, too. At this event, we will manage this by having experts nominated from one team join another team for a period of time and then return to their primary team. These experts are asked to join both or all projects that they are participating in.

Project teams operate under TM Forum’s Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) policy. If you wish to join a project meeting, you will also need to join the related project(s) so that you have received the right approval from your company to operate in that project’s particular IPR “mode.” If you have any questions about which meetings you can attend and/or what project(s) you need to join in order to be able to participate please contact Joann O’Brien or the IPR desk at registration on site.

The specific IPR language to be used by the session leader when opening project meetings being held at TM Forum Action Week can be found in appendix one (1) below.

Meeting Best Practices
Program and Session Lead Guidance outlines best practices for running meetings during TM Forum Action Week USA 2015. It provides links to templates, various reminders & wording for IPR declaration.
Additional information in a form of Agile Methodology Playbook  is available for Team Leaders.
