Athul Prasad

Dr. Athul Prasad is a seasoned AI leader who blends deep academic training with hands-on industry leadership. He is a Global Director and industry expert for the technology, media and telecommunications industry verticals at Cloudera. Dr. Prasad received his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he was a Sloan Fellow, and his doctoral degree in electrical engineering from Aalto University. Over the past two decades, he has worked with Samsung, Nokia, NEC and Huawei, and has contributed to over 100 scientific publications and patents. He has extensive research and industry leadership experience as a working group chair for the AI-RAN Alliance and has served as a lead investigator for various European Union-funded projects.
