Afnan leads the NW Strategy and Architecture function at Telenor Group where one of the key strategic initiatives is using AI to create more autonomy in the network. In addition to Autonomous Networks, he is also a big proponent of Open RAN. He has more than 25 years experience in the industry and has been CTO of the the Infrastructure company of Telenor in Norway.
