TM Forum (Pre MWC) Executive Reception

The TM Forum Executive Reception on Sunday 29th was a great kick-off to TM Forum’s week at MWC24 – a wonderful opportunity to connect with our Members and spark the conversations for the week ahead. Thank you to Tech Mahindra for your partnership.

Day 1

TM Forum proved that together with our Members, we can lead the industry to growth. Thanks to our Members, we have enjoyed highly positive discussions across our themes and the true spirit of collaboration. A few highlights from Day 1:

➡️ Discussions with Tech Mahindra about the role of System Integrators
➡️ Celebrating working together on catalysts with Accenture & Google Cloud
➡️ Reflecting on AI at the Global Telco AI Roundtable ahead of DTW24
➡️ Sharing expertise across ODA Canvas OpenAPIs with Salesforce

Day 2 – Our AN Summit

We were delighted to have our highly attended Autonomous Network Summit opened by Nik Willetts, CEO, TM Forum and hosted by George Glass, CTO, TM Forum.

Day 2

Another day of high energy conversations with our Members! Day 2 highlights included…

➡️ Connecting with our new Member Dell Technologies CTO, Manish Singh
➡️ Sparking multiple conversations across Copilot, API creation, GitHub, OpenAPIs and ODA components and canvas, along with upskilling opportunities, with visitors and Members such as Airbus and Mobily
➡️ Hosting the Snowflake round-table with AT&T, Amdocs, Spark New Zealand and Vodafone discussing the role of telecoms and ODA
➡️ Running our highly attended AutonomousNetworks Summit sponsored by Huawei and in collaboration with China Mobile, GSMA, Accenture, Telecom Argentina, Telefonica, Orange & Asiainfo
➡️ Celebrating two Moonshot Catalyst Awards, with Gil Rosen from Amdocs and discussing the value of Membership and working with Snowflake, Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Vodafone on their achievements.
➡️ Our TMF Forum Analysts sharing deep insights across themes such as 5G monetisation, Digital Operations Transformation, Catalysts and Intelligent Operations across the day with Huawei, TechnoTree and Microsoft to name a few.

Day 3

Day 3 @ MWC24 reached even further heights with our Members! Today’s highlights as follows…

➡️ Vikram Sinha from PT. Indosat Tbk visiting us to share his testimonial on what successful TM Forum Membership activity looks like.
➡️ Discussing fast paced innovation and collaboration in the telecom sector with Amanveer Singh from Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Neel Mehta from Bell Canada.
➡️ Seeing the award winning Catalyst for smart agriculture on show here at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) studio.
➡️ George Glass, CTO, TM Forum collaborating on stage with GSMA‘s Henry Calvert & CAMARA with Jill Lovato from LF Networking.
➡️ Delighted to announce Ooredoo Group advanced its digital transformation journey with the launch of its API Management Programme and successfully obtained the TM Forum API Gold Tier certification! Presented in person to Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo & René Werner
➡️ Thought leadership with Andy Tiller, EVP Member Products & Services, TM Forum and David Villegas from SES Satellites on how the SatCom industry is adopting ODA.
➡️ Meeting Mathangi Sandilya. and the Accenture team who gave an impressive demo of how they are using GenAI to do architectural assessments, using ODA & OpenAPIs as the baseline and subsequently, generating machine readable code
➡️ Speaking with ANTEL about their transforming journey, people & systems

Day 4

On the final day of MWC24 we continued connecting with and celebrating our valued Members. With a fantastic week of collaboration undertaken, here’s our final highlights as follows…

➡️ George Glass, CTO, TM Forum with NTS Retail together discussing progressing certifying APIs
➡️ Meeting with Iquall Networks and seeing their impressive AN solution built on the base of our AN Framework
➡️ Discussing with Etiya Latam product management and helping fellow Members to augment their value propositions
➡️ Seeing how Whale Cloud are adopting our ODA to accelerate the industry IT transformation.
