JSC Kazakhtelecom is the largest telecommunications company in Kazakhstan, has the status of a national telecommunications operator. Company was established on June 17, 1994. The main offices are in Astana and Almaty, regional offices in all parts of Kazakhstan. Since the middle of the 2000s, JSC Kazakhtelecom has consistently held high positions in the rating of the most profitable enterprises of the country with an annual turnover of tens of billions of tenge. JSC Kazakhtelecom owns the National Information Superhighway, which is a transport fiber-optic ring that connects large cities of Kazakhstan with digital streams with high data transmission speed.
