Generally, there are several analytical techniques available to solve a Performance management anomalies detection problem. The Data Scientist often needs to iterate over those techniques to find the best solution. SAS Viya allows a data scientist to iterate and fail fast is necessary to shorten the model development phase and to simplify the model operationalization process. For the anomaly detection task, we implemented on SAS Viya two techniques: > Machine Learning for time series data > Time series analysis For real time anomalies detection with no historical date we use SAS Event Stream Processing (SAS ESP engine).
