With Thailand ranked the number one country to start a business for 2019* and a nationwide goal to train 40,000 tech workers by 2022 in fields such as blockchain, AI, quantum computing, data analytics and IoT, the country is making progress in preparing its citizens for a 5G future,” said Nik Willetts, CEO, TM Forum. “Kuala Lumpur has been a wonderful location for the last two years, and we are looking forward to a new home in Bangkok.”
Bangkok is the next stop for Digital Transformation Asia which moves every two years in order to accommodate a variety of communications service providers and vendors in Asia. In addition to the conference, the Forum hosts a range of workshops and meet-ups in the region.
