Laurent Leboucher and Eric Troup become TM Forum Distinguished Fellows; NetCracker Technology recognized with Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution
TM FORUM LIVE!, Nice, France — June 3, 2014: At last night’s exclusive TM Forum Live! VIP Gala dinner at the Palais de la Méditerranée Nice, TM Forum honored the achievements of Laurent Leboucher and Eric Troup by appointing them as TM Forum Distinguished Fellows. TM Forum fellowship recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Forum and the digital services industry at large. The Forum also honored NetCracker Technology with the 2014 TM Forum Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution and consistent support for the Forum.
Distinguished Fellows
TM Forum’s Distinguished Fellows are nominated and selected by a special panel made up of TM Forum’s leaders, and announced at TM Forum’s flagship TM Forum Live! event once per year. The award distinguishes individuals who have shown commitment to helping advance the principles of the Forum; contributed to its technical excellence; demonstrated leadership and teamwork; and have a proven track record of achievements and accomplishments. Only 26 people have received this award during the Forum’s 25-year history.

Laurent Leboucher is a key leader in the Forum’s Open Digital Ecosystem Program, and one of the strongest advocates and executive sponsors of TM Forum’s renowned Catalyst program. He also leads the Forum’s Strategy Adoption and Standards Subcommittee, consistently demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing the principles of the Forum and contributes to its technical excellence.
Eric Troup, chief technology officer for worldwide communications and media industries, Microsoft
Eric Troup has shown outstanding and progressive leadership in making the work of the Forum relevant to the rapidly expanding cloud services industry. He is an enthusiastic leader for the Forum’s Software Enabled Services, Multi-Cloud Management and Digital Services Reference Architecture work, and has given sustained contributions to the Open Digital Ecosystem Program. In addition, he is a key member of TM Forum’s Strategy Adoption and Standards Subcommittee, is highly committed to advancing the principles of the Forum and contributes to its technical excellence.
Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to TM Forum
Willetts also recognized NetCracker Technology for its outstanding contribution to the Forum and in particular, an unbroken decade of helping make TM Forum conferences around the world such a success. Presenting the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to Netcracker to CEO Andrew Feinberg, Willetts said, “Our sincere thanks to NetCracker for helping enable a mutually successful decade of growth. Their dedication and enthusiasm has been instrumental in helping the Forum change the industry, and we look forward to another decade of close partnership.”
