Appointments strengthen leadership in Collaboration, Membership Engagement, and Marketing & Communications
LONDON, UK —July 12th, 2017: TM Forum, the industry association driving digital business transformation of the communications industry, today announced three senior appointments in innovation and collaboration, member engagement and marketing. Paul Wilson becomes Chief Marketing Officer, Dr. Andy Tiller joins as Executive Vice President, Collaboration & Innovation and Naveen Suri joins as VP, Global Member Engagement.

Previously CMO of fintech giant SunGard, founder of Bristol Is Open, and serving as Advisor in TM Forum’s Smart City program, and the UK Government’s 5G Testbeds & Trials Programme, Paul Wilson will take on the newly created CMO role and will assume responsibility for the Forum’s marketing and communications efforts. Wilson will elevate the profile of the Forum and reflect its focus on collaboration, innovation and digital transformation.
Andy Tiller’s appointment will strengthen the leadership of TM Forum’s collaborative work. As EVP, Collaboration & Innovation, Tiller will lead improvements to the cohesion, awareness and visibility of the Forum’s collaborative products, enhancing the velocity and depth of the Forum’s collaboration programs. Immediately prior to TM Forum, Tiller was VP, Corporate Product Marketing at BSS/OSS supplier AsiaInfo, and has more than 25 years of senior roles in the telecommunications industry.
Naveen Suri will take on the newly created position of VP, Global Member Engagement. Suri will take on day-to-day leadership and responsibility for enhancing member retention and engagement. Immediately prior to TM Forum, Suri was VP, Business Development and Sales at iconectiv, an Ericsson company, and he has more than 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry.

Paul Wilson, Chief Marketing Officer
Paul Wilson has more than 20 years’ experience in the TMT and fintech sectors. Prior to his work establishing Bristol Is Open, Paul was Chief Marketing Officer at Fortune 500 software company SunGard, where he worked for 14 years. During this time, SunGard grew from a $2.8bn primarily American company, to a $5bn global business, through a combination of organic growth and 180+ acquisitions. As CMO, Paul’s team developed global campaigns that helped to unite the company and deliver growth, winning B2B Marketing’s ‘Best International Campaign’ two years running. During this time Paul lived in UK, America and Switzerland.
Dr. Andy Tiller, EVP, Collaboration & Innovation
Andy has over 25 years’ experience in product marketing and product management for telecom suppliers and technology companies. He joins TM Forum from Chinese BSS/OSS supplier AsiaInfo, where he built an international product strategy, established a global marketing function and set up the company’s operations in Europe. Previously, Andy held senior positions at ip.access (where he was also a founding board member and director of the Small Cell Forum), ShoZu, and Geneva Technology (acquired by Convergys in 2001).
Naveen Suri, VP, Global Member Engagement
Naveen is a passionate global business generator and leader with extensive experience in strategy, corporate development, government/industry relations, sales, marketing, finance, product and program management. Blending strategy with tactics, he is uniquely skilled at building relationships, applying entrepreneurial vision, technology know-how, and analytical skills to solve complex business problems. Naveen is a results driven senior executive and for the last 12 years he has been a VP, Business Development and Sales at iconectiv, an Ericsson company. He spearheaded the international growth for telecom software, services, and professional services.
