The Zero Touch NSM project will bring together sixteen participants in the telecommunications sector to analyse and evaluate challenges associated with Network and Service Management (NSM). The three-month project involves Amdocs, China Mobile, Ciena, Deutsche Telekom, Dell EMC, Ericsson, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Intel, Infosim, NEC/Netcracker, Nokia, Orchestral Networks, Telefonica and Viavi Solutions. By the end of the project, participants hope to release a concrete guidance proposal on how NSM capability can be improved and harmonised across TM Forum, ONF, MEF and other standards development organisations.
The project also seeks to enhance NSM network automation to facilitate developments in edge computing, low latency networks, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning.
