IG1171 ODA Component Definition R19.0.1

This document describes reasons for defining an ODA Component, which stems from the need for an agile approach that encompass business needs, network structure and operational challenges.

It describes the structure of a component, its sub-parts and their functionality as well as suggesting ways of exposing the functionalities.

The document also addresses the lifecycle of the component and it’s composability aspects. Another section is devoted to the relation of the components the existing Frameworx including to the Open APIs.

Subsequent releases are expected to materially enhance the connection to digital business, the use of a component on existing industry platforms, compose scenarios and examples.
