The guide is for practitioners, and it formalizes the methodology for multidimensional evaluation of maturity across the six key dimensions of AOMM: Strategy, Culture, Data, Technology, Operations, and Party. This methodology is to ensure a holistic assessment that goes beyond just network levels maturity to include all main aspects of enterprise operations, enabling practitioners to evaluate both technical and strategic aspects of autonomous operations.
It establishes AOMM’s scoring mechanism and outlines benefits to organizations, including evaluating their current state of maturity and readiness for autonomous operations, defining their vision and goals, planning and prioritizing actions and investments, monitoring and measuring progress and performance, and formalizing best practices members. The methodology captured here is to enable members to have the knowledge and know how to understand how to convert the raw inputs of an assessment into scores that unlock insights of their journey in autonomous operations.
