IG1403 Comparing AOMM and Autonomous Network Levels Evaluations v1.0.0

Autonomous operations and autonomous networks are critical capabilities for Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and enterprises aiming to improve efficiency, agility, and scalability. TM Forum’s frameworks—particularly the Autonomous Operations Maturity Model (AOMM) under the MAMA project and the Autonomous Network Level Evaluation Tool (ANLET) under the AN project—guide organizations toward higher autonomy.

This document clarifies how AOMM (MAMA) and ANLET (AN) complement each other. AOMM supports enterprise-wide operational maturity measurement, while ANLET targets domain-specific network scenarios. Understanding their roles enables organizations to align strategic business outcomes with the technical evolution of their networks.
