Digital Organizational Transformation Ecosystem Guide v1.0.1 (IG1198)

This guide explains why we believe that a Digital Organizational Transformation Strategy is needed and why a Digital Organizational Transformation Ecosystem (DOTE) is needed to deliver it. The digital transformation challenge usually has too many aspects to be considered as one solution or to be delivered by one provider and given its complexity a digital transformation strategy is necessary to navigate and effect its delivery. The ecosystem, consisting of the telecommunications organization itself and typically external partners, must work together to deliver a whole-ecosystem transformation for the benefit of the end customer and their service experience.

This guide aims to provide TM Forum members with a framework, approach and role definitions for those charged with delivering digital transformation underpinned by a common language to accelerate and streamline transformation projects while minimizing associated risks.

The best practices described here are a systematic approach to transform and to keep improving the way service providers and their suppliers do business, unlocking value from change.
