IG1282 ODA Design Challenges in Applying B2C Solutions to B2B/B2B2X Requirements v1.0.0
- Maturity level: Alpha
-
Created By: End to End ODA Project
This Guide describes numerous design challenges Communications Service Providers face when attempting to extend B2C solutions to address B2B/B2B2X requirements. B2C solutions receive the majority of digital transformation budgets, often with the expectation that the transformation will easily extend to cater for B2B/B2B2X requirements, especially when the solution and business process architecture aligns with TM Forum’s Open Digital Architecture. Across six design domains, this Guide details specific B2B and B2B2X challenges that are either not covered by typical B2C solutions or would require extensive rework to adapt for the complexities of these more advanced customer segment scenarios.
