Created By: Autonomous Networks Project
An intent specification defines rules and constraints regarding allowed content of intent. This allows generating and verifying well-formed intents. Many factors can be considered, such as the nature of an autonomous domain, the services and resources exposed by it and capabilities and properties of intent handlers. Intent specifications can be associated with product and service specifications within catalogs. Intent specifications are in this respect a new type of specification asset according to ODA/SID [sid]. This means they would determine how requirements regarding a product and service order can be expressed. Intent specifications are also used in intent manager capability profile to define the intent content an intent handler would support. This document defines the vocabulary to express intent specifications.
