TM Forum’s Capability Framework Poster v24.0 (TMF442)

This poster provides and overview of the TM Forum Capability Framework (TMF-CF), which is based on the fundamental concept of Capability.

A Capability represents an ability that an active structure element, such as an organization, person, or system possesses and is focused on business outcomes. It provides a high-level view of the current and desired abilities of an organization in relation to its strategy and its environment. Capabilities are realized by various elements (people, processes, information, and systems) and may have serving relationships where one capability contributes to another.

Please refer to GB1029C for the full Capability Map, which is a key building block of Business Architecture and is intended to be used as part of value stream modelling and portfolio planning to aid diversification and operational planning.
