This white paper presents the challenges, and 8 use cases of applying Machine Learning and AI to provide the digital service provider the level of business assurance protection needed in the context of today’s and tomorrow’s intricate digital economy. These use cases were presented in a Catalyst project at the TM Forum Digital Transformation World 2018. The use cases include prevention and correction of orders’ provision errors, customer impersonation detection, analyzing the customer’s feedback and sentiment to provide proactive revenue assurance, identifying traffic manipulation fraud, customer credit validation, dunning management: distinguish a good faith debtor from a potential fraudster, and automatic learning and setting optimal thresholds of KPIs/rules.
