Created By: Digital Ecosystem Management Project
The scope of this document is to define the API Component Suite in support of a set of Customer Facing Services (CFS) which are utilized to deliver product offers and product offer bundles. These services are referred to as Connectivity as a Service (CaaS) and include all services offered from a service provider that entail connectivity. Connectivity-as-a-Service utilizes the open digital architecture of core commerce, production and intelligence management to realize the intent request and convert the request into one or more connectivity-as-a-service offers. The CaaS environment incorporates zero-touch partnering (ZTP) to allow for the onboarding of value added services. The goal for the CSP or Digital Service Provider will be to marry the set of value added services from partners with the connectivity to deliver a solution to the end consumer. CaaS will rely on service discovery to find alternative solutions to any service type including Connectivity for the realization of the CaaS intent based product offering.
