GB993 Asset Management: Best Practice Use Case Descriptions R16.1.1

This Asset Management (AM) Best Practice Use Case Descriptions guide represents a holistic view of an overall Asset Management program, with specific emphasis on Network Asset Management. Initial “seed” content was derived from previous Asset Management use cases described within TAM (Telecom Application Framework); however, this guide is designed to look beyond use cases, and to instead focus on more of a programmatic view of Asset Management. As a result, readers will find business scenarios, and use cases, and processes pulled together in this guide, forming a single plane of information.

While this release is not specifically designed to be integrated into the overall Frameworx ecosystem today, mapping work is underway with the Frameworx team to integrate and cross-reference the elements described in this guide to the appropriate framework within Frameworx.
