The Application Framework (TAM) is the ongoing TM Forum initiative to deliver an application architecture or framework for use by service providers and others within the Information Communications, and Entertainment industries.
Release 17.5.1 has a number of changes, including:
- New top level process,
- Decompositions and improvements to existing processes.
In Release 17.5.1, we are also introducing a new format to Application Framework Functional Decomposition GB929F with a multiple tab file separating Applications and Functions. The modified version of GB929F is provided for Member Review and comments only, and will continue to remain a maturity level 3 document for this release. This is a work in progress and is subject to changes in the subsequent releases.
RN315 Application Framework Release Notes R17.5.1 provides the overview content of the Application Framework (TAM) suite and will identify the changes introduced in this current release.
