This document is a primer that provides an overview on available assets of the TM Forum and brings them into the perspective of healthcare. The business models are intended to frame the potential using telecommunication best practice to meet business needs of digital health services. The Tools for Cooperation between Healthcare and Technology/Telcoms broadens the view to showcase already existing frameworks that are good candidates for extension.

Based on this ground we plan to iteratively develop a framework that assists to understand medical requirements from a telecommunications perspective and provide a medical view on telecommunication capabilities.
