Digital services, particularly in mobile services, will potentially bring a dramatic shift in CSP operations. This change is likely to be as of much significance as introducing GSM mobile was in the 1990’s. Revenue Assurance functions must adapt to these new challenges. LTE/4G and associated digital services technology requires a whole new layer of technology both in radio access network, core network and also potentially in OSS/BSS services if maximum benefit is to be gained.
