Connectivity-as-a-Service (CaaS) is recognized as a foundation for network monetization. When the CSP delivers on the enterprise grade seamless connectivity, they gain market authority to go for growth beyond connectivity. Therefore, CaaS acts as a springboard for growth.
Opportunities
There are many opportunities for new business based on CaaS, in B2C, B2B and B2B2X, however it is envisaged that the vast majority are in the B2B2X space. Here as enterprises seek to digital transform themselves, this presents opportunities for telco’s to play new key roles beyond connectivity as part of the required ecosystem solutions.
