Rating and Follow up::Tariff Calculation and Rating

The Tariff Calculation and Rating Aggregate Function aims to identify and apply the relevant pricing rules and discounts, and to calculate the related price,<br/>•   to any type of tariff (recurring, one-time , or related to product usage records)<br/>• during Sales, Order Capture and Order follow-up processes to produce an installedTariff or a quotation or a simulation, or to complete a customer order or update an installedOffer,<br/>•   as well as during the Usage Rating process (ex: for a product usage record).<br/>For example, some products’ usages require an advice of charge, i.e. the customer has to be presented with a price estimate (quotation) before using the product. In this case, the real-time rating module calculates the price depending on the offers and products owned by the customer, and delivers the information to the customer during the authorization request for the usage.<br/><br/>This function evaluates the pricing rules and discount defined in the commercial catalogue for the corresponding offer and tariff type, identifies and applies relevant one(s) to calculate unitary prices (without and with VAT). It can also take into account Framework Agreement special conditions. <br/><br/>For each applied tariff, the function identifies if an immediate payment is required, if loyalty burn is possible, or if a billing account has to be associated, based on rules declared in the commercial catalogue.<br/>
