Resource Management::Regulated Logical Resources Management

The Regulated Logical Resources Management Aggregate Function permits to describe and manage logical resources such as phone numbers, IP addresses, IMSI, frequencies … which are usually allocated to the Service Provider by regulation authorities, and often in limited quantities.<br/>Specific rules defined by regulation authorities are treated by the Resource Allocation Policy Management function.<br/>The Service Provider also often has specific operations to manage when these resources are allocated or returned, and fair usage reporting to ensure.<br/>For example, this function covers Portability constraints for phone numbers, which oblige the Service Provider to always know which operator uses a phone number to be able to manage changes of operator and network routing.<br/>It can also cover constraints related to mail address management.<br/>
