Resource Audit and Discovery : Public <<TMF_AF>> Aggregated Function
The Resource Audit and Discovery Aggregate Function permits to identify and check the consistency of the current state and the configured characteristics of the Installed Resources, between the installed resources base (or inventory) and the equipments. Several mechanisms are available such as:<br/>• Notification (concern active equipment, for example box, OLT, mobile phone really used, …)<br/>• Polling (concern passive equipment). Polling can be automatic or on-demand (in case of Trouble Ticket for example), direct or through intermediate equipment. For example, to identify home equipment, information is collected through the box.<br/>• Report by technicians in the field<br/><br/>The installed resources identified by the Audit-Resource Discovery function can be:<br/>• elements of the Service Provider Infrastructure<br/>• devices sold or rented to customers by the Service Provider<br/>• devices owned by customers or users, not sold or rented by the Service Provider, and directly or not connected to its network.<br/>
