Resource Alarm Management : Public <<TMF_AF>> Aggregated Function
This Resource Alarm Management Aggregate Function assures that resource alarms produced are correctly handled, affected and distributed and escalated as needed, depending on rules defined by Resource Strategy and Policy Management.

The resource alarm can concern
• the functioning of a resource (power, card, temperature dysfunction)
• the reach of a performance threshold
• or a performance degradation.

This function includes:
• qualification: severity level determination, enrichment with data from Resource Installed Base.
• filtering: if the resource alarm concern an equipment currently under a scheduled work, it is inhibited
• correlation: for example several alarms can be associated each other based on engineering rules and reduced to one root alarm on the resource
• assignment and distribution of resource qualified alarms if necessary to a responsible actor.

If the resource alarm is recognized and requires a search for cause and triggering of action, a resource trouble ticket is created and will be handled by trouble mechanism.
When the resource Trouble is resolved, the Resource Alarm could be, automatically or not, deactivated or its severity level decreased.

In other cases the alarm can be handled, without creating an associated trouble ticket, by following exploitation forms, with possibly triggering of manual actions.
In every case, it could be closed manually by an assigned actor.
