Resource Allocation Policy Development : Public <<TMF_AF>> Aggregated Function
The Resource Allocation Policy Development Aggregate Function enables to define and to check consistency of potentially complex rules to automate the choice of resource type and/or instance during different processes such as delivery management, assurance, infrastructure management, …. <br/><br/>Criteria can be of various nature and combined:<br/>• geographical (for fixed phone number allocation, …)<br/>• defined by regulation authorities which allocate the resources to the Service Provider (range of MSISDN dedicated to M2M, IMSI allocation rules to SIM cards depending of future vendor - the Service Provider itself, MVNO, … - , duration of freezing before using again a phone number, …)<br/>• depending on the configured characteristics of the Installed Service / Resource to deliver (ex: phone number allocated during Customer Order Capture, internet speed required, …) or associated to it (ex: QoS or SLA)<br/>• depending on the current state of Service Platforms, Network equipment (occupation rate, load balancing, … )<br/>• depending on Supplier/Partner contracts (volume discounts, …)<br/><br/>
