AMPU is a financial measure of margin and should not be confused with Average minutes per user which is another metric sometimes used to measure voice and VoIP services. We have seen different formulas used to calculate AMPU. The first is AMPU = ARPU – ACPU. The second is AMPU = Total margin / Number of subscribers where Total margin is calculated as Total revenue – Total cost.<br/>
