The telecommunications industry is undergoing a major transformation, with the rise of new technologies such as 5G and the Internet of Things. This is creating new opportunities for CSPs to grow revenues by partnering with other businesses to offer new and innovative services. However, one of the challenges that CSPs face is how to efficiently manage these partnerships and ensure that they are able to quickly bring new services to market. This Catalyst project addresses this challenge by removing the 'catalog barrier' and providing a solution that allows CSPs to easily partner with other businesses to offer new services. The solution uses a JSON schema format to represent products and services, as an alternative to sharing specifications through a catalog API - ingesting them into the CSP catalog used by buyers, helping suppliers avoid the need to implement their own catalogs, and so bringing a greater diversity of offerings to CSPs’ customers quickly.
