Ali Jahangiri is Vice President and Head of Cyber Defense at Verizon, with nearly 30 years of experience leading cybersecurity, IT transformation, and network engineering across multiple large organizations. He is recognized for driving innovation in enterprise security operations and advancing the use of AI to build secure, agile, and future-ready digital ecosystems.

He currently leads Verizon’s global cyber defense organization, which spans cybersecurity operations, engineering, threat intelligence, proactive security, and the emerging area of AI security. In addition to his Verizon leadership role, Ali serves on multiple industry advisory boards, where he helps shape best practices and collaborates with peers to strengthen the broader cybersecurity ecosystem.
