John Brooks has worked in technology across multiple industries since 1983. In his early career he produced automation for dairy agriculture; he later moved deeper in technology, producing solutions for Aerospace and Defense. In 1999 he helped launch Connexn Technologies, whose growth in telecommunications attracted acquisition in 2004 as revenues quickly approached $100M USD.

John remains passionate about fostering entrepreneurial innovation and growth. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the International Economics Institute at the University of Colorado, with extended studies in Statistics, Aerospace Engineering and International Trade, and was appointed to the Technology Board of Advisors for DeVry University.
