5G native AI will enable diverse, on-demand user experience of ToB and ToC services, getting a win-win for both telecom operators and users.
5G services trend to appear diversity, different services have different resources requirement and features. For example, live streaming needs high-quality uplink bandwidth network, camera video of unmanned vehicles transfer data using idle resources, the number of UEs in single electrical area is huge and most of the services (e.g., remote recording, equipment reset) have the characteristic of short running time (once per week), low latency requirement (lower than 10 ms), and so on. Based on the fusion of 5G network and AI, this catalyst project will demonstrate how 5G native AI can schedule network resources precisely for per UE and per service flow, through real-time perception, analysis and prediction, intelligent decision-making, closed-loop control and intelligent network-service coordination, getting a win-win for users to assure network experience and ISP to make profit.
