Our Catalyst's solution aims to enable the partner app to automatically boost session data traffic for its enterprise customers based on user policy or via the boost button which is presented in a partner app UI. This will be done via integration with CSPs standardized APIs (CAMARA, TM Forum, 3GPP) that can serve multiple partners to fulfill similar scenarios or expand the use to other customer-serving scenarios. CSPs' various partners and OTT providers require multiple integration projects for various solutions increasing the project cost as well as operational maintenance cost. CSP unification of interactions with various 3PPs and OTT providers would reduce project and maintenance costs, and promote easier reusable no-touch revenue models. Such standardization requires alignment and demarcation where standards from different standardization bodies (CAMARA and TM Forum) are followed. CSPs could provide end-user customers high-quality data experience through an in-session boost of their data traffic automatically within an agreed policy or via customer on-the-fly requests. Designing and implementing such a scenario using standardized APIs will provide a real-life elaboration on the use of standardized APIs. This would assure end-user satisfaction with 5G capabilities as well as open new revenue streams for CSPs. Customer control over session quality is an innovative approach to serving both customer experience and monetizing customer needs. The CSP will now have a more satisfied customer base by achieving seamless enhanced experience and new partner revenue streams monetizing customer needs.
