Kamran leads the Technology Strategy and Global Infrastructure (TSGI) group for Verizon’s GTS organization. The team’s mission is to deliver technology strategy and global infrastructure that extends Verizon’s market leadership. As a shared services organization within the Verizon
Global Services unit, the GTS TSGI team co-creates with its stakeholders to make Verizon’s
technology a competitive advantage. Kamran is a senior global technology and operations leader and business visionary; maximizing organizational productivity through innovative technology solutions, building best-in-class teams, setting the strategic focus, and delivering beyond expectations. He has led game- changing business strategies and initiatives while leading high-performance technology and telecommunications teams. A passionate leader that motivates and builds strong teams, both onshore and offshore, to achieve a sense of shared purpose and operational excellence, while positively impacting the bottom line.
Previously, Kamran served as Chief Information Officer at CenturyLink, where he led the digital
transformation of the company’s legacy platforms. In addition, he led the Diversity program for
Women in STEM across the firm. Prior to joining CenturyLink, Kamran held Executive leadership positions at Liberty Global family of companies, including CTO of Ziggo in the Netherlands, CIO and Head of Customer Operations at Unity Media and European CIO of NTL (Virgin Media). Kamran is an active investor in emerging technology startups and serves on the board of several next generation technology firms in Silicon Valley. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and a global voice in the world of technology transformation. Kamran has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Ohio State University. He also has an MBA from New York Institute of Technology. He is multilingual, being fluent in English, French and Persian, and proficient in German.
