Naleen Jayasuriya
Eng. Naleen Jayasuriya is a seasoned multi-disciplinary professional with over 22 years of extensive experience in various domains, including Network Operations, Business Process Management, Project and Program Management, Human Resources Management, Regulatory Affairs, and Digital Transformation. Currently, he serves as the General Manager of the Program Management Division at Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), where he is entrusted with managing all programs within the SLT. He also acts as the Project Manager for several key Digital initiatives and leads the Digital Transformation Program as the Program Manager.
Naleen holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. He has furthered his education with three Master’s degrees, which include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in the Management of Technology, and a Master of Science (MSc) specializing in Project Management, both from the University of Moratuwa. Additionally, he earned a Master of Labor Relations and Human Resources Management (MLRHRM) from the University of Colombo.
His professional qualifications are equally impressive, with fellowships in the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. He is also a Chartered Engineer in both Sri Lanka and the UK, with certifications in ITILv3 and CQHRM. Naleen is an International Professional Review Assessor (UK) and a respected visiting lecturer at several state and private universities including University of Moratuwa. He is also actively involved in professional bodies, serving as Vice President of the IET Sri Lanka Network, a Chartered Engineering and Fellow Engineering Panelist at IESL, and contributing to Industrial Consultative Boards of various universities by invitation.
