RAN multi-agent system enables "Digital engineers team"

URN C25.0.844
Topics 5G, AI (Artificial Intelligence), Autonomous networks

Build an E2E automated pipeline for wireless networks by benchmarking against the "lights-out factory".

featured image
The convergence of 5G-A commercial use and AI ingress has ushered in the mobile AI era. Intelligent network development and intelligent collaborative orchestration pipelines are introduced to accelerate the L4 commercial use of intelligent networks and comprehensively improve network productivity. Multi-agent collaboration: From individual intelligence to group intelligence, accurate translation of business intentions and sub-goals are implemented, and multiple agents are invoked through target feature matching. This project provides four types of wireless autonomous network digital engineers (FME Mate, Optim Spirit, Watt Spirit, and Bit Mentor), which focus on four high-value scenarios (fault handling, routine network optimization, energy efficiency optimization, and service experience assurance), respectively. By leveraging intelligent technologies such as digital twin and communication foundation models and using intelligent hardware such as digital antennas, and intelligent service processing units, this project builds an E2E automated digital O&M pipeline. This project simplifies O&M with minimum or no manual intervention, significantly improving quality, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency. At the same time, with AI entry of Terminal, multi-agent-based intelligent networks enable high-tech intelligent industry chains, such as naked-eye 3D, VR, body-based robots, large-scale driving links, and low-altitude economic sensing applications.
