TR283 Business Requirements for a Multi-layer Topology Discovery Service v1.0.0  Proposes a use case where  metrological information forecasts a flood in a particular part of a city. And poses two questions: “Which physical and logical resource , services product and customers will be impacted ?”,  and “What can be done to minimize impact?”<br/>It sets out the requirements for a service exposed by a Topology API (TMF686) that allows the creation of filtered topological views of data held in multiple inventories to allow such queries to be supported and resolved.<br/>This is illustrated in Image1.<br/>The Topology Discovery service is directed to extract information held in inventories shown on the left side spanning from Marketing and Sales through Customer Service t to resources. Shown on the right is an example of such a graph where selected elements from Customer, Service and Resource inventories together with selected relationships a formed into a graph. Queries on this graph can then be used to identify options to address the question posed in the use cases.<br/>The same approach can be use to create a Digital Twin Knowledge Base to support other forms of analysis and reasoning and later hyperloops catalysts are intending to explore use in multi industry vertical service enablers scenarios<br/>
